This kit is for the Japanese built direct cooled (no heat exchanger) engines; 15hp 2 GM, 3GM built between 1980-1983 and 18hp 2GM20, 2GM20C and 3GM30 built between 1983 and 1996. The engine serial number has no prefixes. The cooling water pump impeller has a pin that fits into the slot in the shaft of the shaft. The impeller cover is sealed with a paper gasket.
