The rev counter is suitable for quick checking of revs. This hand-held rev counter measures the rotational speed of moving objects, such as shafts, motors, gears, etc. without contact. The rev counter uses a laser that emits a light beam. The reflection of this light beam is then received by the internal diode of the rev counter. The hand-held tachometer measures the speed in a range of 2.5 … 99,999 rpm and displays it on the illuminated display of the meter. The measuring distance is 50 ... 500 mm.

The rev counter is equipped with two different measuring modes: a manual mode and an automatic mode. In manual measurement mode, the rev counter measures as long as the trigger is depressed. In auto mode, measurements are taken until the mode is ended. For further analysis of the measured values ​​you can use the MAX, MIN, AVG modes. The rev counter determines the maximum, minimum and average values.
