Water and dirt in diesel fuel can seriously damage the highly polished parts of fuel pumps and injectors. Dirt particles can render the fuel pump's prams useless. Sludge, condensation and rust are the main cause of this. Separ filters remove dirt particles from 30 microns and water for almost 99.8%.

Method:

First phase
Separation of solid unknowns and liquid contamination by centrifugal action of separator (centrifuge)

Second stage
Collection of the fine particles still left behind. The suspended particles rise with the fuel in the upper part of the cone-shaped intermediate piece (cone) and collect on these inclined surfaces. The larger and heavier parts that develop over time gradually sink to the impurities separated in the first phase at the bottom of the bowl.

Third phase
The finest filtering of the fuel in the Separ filter elements (insert).
By working together all three phases, a separation of water of 99.8% is achieved.
