Engine descaler
Removes limescale in all directly cooled inboard engines (wet exhaust). The engine runs at an optimum operating temperature, resulting in more efficient performance. Will not attack rubber gaskets, seals, pumps, etc.
Instructions for use: Before use, remove the water filter and if possible also the thermostat. Close the tap of the water inlet (weeder tray) and start the engine so that the existing cooling water can wash away through the wet exhaust. Switch off the engine and let the product run into the weeder tray. Mixing ratio: 1 liter Motor Descaler to 2 liters of clean water. Now start the engine so that the greenish liquid is sucked into the system. As soon as it leaves the ship through the wet exhaust, switch off the engine and let it soak for 15-30 minutes. Now start the engine to flush out any contamination. Try to absorb as much of the loose deposits as possible. The wet exhaust can therefore become somewhat dirty as a result of, for example, limescale. Open the water inlet valve and let the engine idle for some time to flush the system. Always replace the water filter after treatment. To prevent wear of the engine, it is recommended to descale the cooling system annually.
