Waterlock with muffler up to 50 hp

This plastic waterlock or waterlift combined with an exhaust silencer has a shroud thickness of 8 mm.
Fits for exhaust hose Ø40, Ø45 and Ø50 mm.
Content: 7 litres.
Capacity: up to 50 hp.

For proper and safe operation of the engine, the use of a waterlock and aerator is necessary with a water-cooled exhaust system, if the heads of the engine are above the waterline, an aerator can be omitted.

A water lift or water lock also prevents cooling water from running back into the engine.
Due to a small overpressure, when the engine is at a standstill, the cooling water is always pushed out.
The cooling water can therefore no longer flow into the engine.

The aerator or anti-siphon valve is used in engines where the cylinder heads are just above or below the waterline. It also prevents cooling water from flowing into the cylinders.

I do recommend installing an aerator on an engine with the cylinder head above the waterline.

In addition to the waterlock, an exhaust silencer can also be used, but in many cases this is not necessary.
