This cable connector also called cable shoe connector / connector are fully insulated cable connectors. This cable connector is suitable for up to 600v with a maximum operating temperature of -55°C to 125°C, and is constructed from a copper tinned material with nylon insulation. These cable lugs are suitable for connecting / crimping two cables together. After squeezing the cable lug onto the cable, the insulation can be heated with a hair dryer, causing it to shrink around the cable and providing an extra solid seal. This makes it resistant to petrol, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine oil, antifreeze and salt water. The cable lugs are available in the colours red 0.5-1.5 mm², blue 1.5-2.5 mm² and yellow 4.0-6.0 mm².
